Nick Gordon suffering 'an enormous amount of guilt and pain as Bobbi Kristina fights for her life-->>>

He was given an intervention from Dr Phil and is now in rehab after televised sit-down

The 64-year-old psychiatric expert, who recently flew to Atlanta to stage an intervention for the 25-year-old star, admits Nick wasn't sober during their upcoming TV special, but he is now seeking treatment in a rehab facility.
He also claims Nick is dealing with "an enormous amount of guilt and pain" as his girlfriend Bobbi Kristina Brown continues to fight for her life at the Emory University Hospital in Atlanta after being found unresponsive in her bathtub on January 31.

Dr. Phil joined Nick's mother, Michelle, to stage the intervention, which was captured on camera and is set to air on CBS in the US tomorrow, according to UsMagazine.com.
Asked about how Nick is doing, he said: "[He was] clearly in an altered state of consciousness. I asked him if he was sober, and he said 'No.'
"But he insists the meeting was successful, adding: "[It] got [Nick] safely tucked away and into rehab."
As previously reported, Nick Gordon stormed out of his interview with Dr Phil when he discovered it was an intervention.

The troubled boyfriend of the Whitney Houston's daughter was due to appear on the show with his mother to talk about Bobbi - who is in a coma - but was left surprised when the interview turned into an intervention.
In the first clip of the episode, Dr Phil gives Nick's mother a stark warning: "Your son, left to his own devices will be dead within a week."
Nick is also seen tearfully breaking down saying he misses 'Krissy and Whitney so much' and dramatically telling the TV psychiatrist: "I hate Bobby Brown."
But then the interview turns to Nick's drinking and Dr Phil tells him: "I want you to go straight to rehab."

But seemingly before Dr Phil can finish his sentence, Nick storms out and declares the interview over.
However, sources previously revealed to the New York Daily News that Gordon went straight to rehab after the interview.
“Hopefully he’s in rehab right now. He got in car from the hotel with his mom,” a well-placed source told The News.
“Things got really bad with him,” the source said, referring to boyfriend Nick Gordon. “This was about saving his life.”
Gordon had been drowning his sorrow in dangerous amounts of Jack Daniel’s, and was confronted in his Georgia hotel Thursday morning, sources told The News.

The treatment he’s due to receive would be for suicidal thoughts, alcohol and Xanax, sources told the New York Daily News.
It was his mom who approached Dr. Phil about getting Gordon some help, one source said.
“As we sit here right now, my son’s life hangs in the balance,” Michelle says in an excerpt of the dramatic Dr. Phil episode about the intervention set to air March 11.
The worried mom said Gordon was devastated when Whitney Houston died in a Beverly Hills hotel bathtub in February 2012, and that she’s not sure how much more he can take after Bobbi Kristina was found facedown and unresponsive in a tub on Jan. 31.

“When Whitney was found, he administered CPR to her and called me as he was standing in front of her saying, ‘Mom, why couldn’t I do it? I couldn’t get air into her lungs,’” she recalls on the taped segment.
“He won’t let go of the guilt,” she tells Dr. Phil.
A photo released by CBS Television shows Michelle clutching a tissue as she wraps her arms around a distraught looking Gordon on a couch across from Dr. Phil.
“I’m so hurt I wanna do myself in, I know I have to strong,” he tweeted Tuesday.

Gordon lived with Houston and Bobbi Kristina as an adopted son before Houston’s death, and later became engaged to Bobbi Kristina.
He’s been suffering “severe pain, mental anguish and panic attacks” as Bobbi Kristina has remained unresponsive in an Atlanta hospital for five weeks, a press release from CBS Television stated.
As part of the intervention, Dr. Phil offered to help him with his treatment, according to the studio.
Bobbi Kristina turned 22 on Wednesday as relatives continued to pray for her recovery.

"Today is Bobbi Kristina's 22nd birthday, and we ask you to continue to keep her in your prayers as she is still fighting the battle of her life,” her aunt Pat Houston said in a statement posted on Whitney Houston’s website.
Gordon was banished from her bedside at Emory University Hospital after reportedly arguing with relatives.
A lawyer for Bobbi Kristina’s dad Bobby Brown said Gordon would be allowed to return if he gives an honest account of the events leading up to the bathtub incident.
“Obviously Mr. Gordon is not as desperate to visit Bobbi Kristina as he wants the world to believe. At least not desperate enough to inform Bobby Brown, in writing, what happened to Bobbi Kristina,” lawyer Christopher Brown said in a recent statement to The News.
Gordon was at home when the medical crisis started, but it was a friend who found Bobbi Kristina and called 911.
Local police have said they are investigating the matter for possible criminal behavior.
